PIP - Beautiful dancer - Knows her stuff, she's danced with several other border teams previously. Has a quietly wicked sense of humour, good consumer of wine! Her new hubby Dave's a very naughty boy as he's meant to be joining us as a dancer...

MADDY - dancer and drummer - also does sports massage, makes soap and pies, brews beer. Looks out for the rest of the team. Very rarely drinks. Provides nice food at the end of tiring evenings - eg fruit pancakes and butter or stew and dumpligs! Birthday cake and party organiser too.

DEBS - Dancer and side asset. Loads of previous Morris experience - very helpful in keeping us on track when we threaten to fall off! Works hard and is our side mediator!

ANT - Dancer. Enjoys his beer as much as his dancing. CAMRA bloke who takes us on cross country rambles to find great pubs in the middle of nowhere selling good beer. Does good PR for the team and is good at flogging CDs.

SUE - Dancer and drummer (proper drummer - not restricted to just banging the drum in time to the beat like us lesser mortals!) Sue rarely travels light - usually taking the kitchen sink AND the garden with her! Quite fond of gin and the occasional glass of wine. Bargain hunter. Ex cotswold dancer.

MARK - Dancer. Likes to go scrambling around underground in nasty old mines - (why?) Dedicated Ale drinker. Used to dance rapper - did 'triffic back flip' - and danced with other local all male border team of whom he is too ashamed to name!

SPIKE - musician, side shaman, Beltane Santa and looks after the cash. Plays guitar, whistle and bodhran, also does some dancing when needed. Runs folk club at the Old Church House Inn, Torbryan every Sunday (with Maddy). Often entertains the rest of us with songs and stories after a hard day's dancing. Found us at Widecombe some years back and hasn't been able to lose us since!

MEL - Guitar, lager. Tries to be inconspicuous but its difficult when you're tall and play your guitar rather well. Tends to be quiet but this is because he is secretly writing a book about the team! Wicked sense of humour. He definitely doesn't want to dance.

AJ - Dancer, string bass player, new mother! Fun, enthusiastic and as her T shirt says 'area of outstanding natural beauty'! Also a great singer and guitarist.

CHRIS - Chief Drummer - Now available the all new ‘Chris’ Action figure with REAL snazaroo facepaint (simply paint on and remove with shampoo and wetwipes) miniature bottles of Fursty Ferret and Poachers Choice for feeding time. Realistic drumming action and sound effects from Steeleye Span, Glorystrokes and Jethro Tull. Also available drumstick and tankard accessories!

ALI - Dancer and stand-in fiddle. Has danced with other border teams but would really prefer a 90 mile round trip to come and dance with us! Becoming quietly instrumental and much needed in the team. Likes wine.

DEBBIE F - Dancer- Vies for position of most photographed member of the team with Spike. She's now equalled Maddy's record of snogging the most morris dancers in a morris procession. Bags of enthusiasm.

JACKIE - fiddle player - pretends to be a bit quiet and shy but this simply isn't true!! The way she plays really fits our dancing and we are glad she joined us and we want to keep her! She likes ice cream and monster servings of noodles!

SUSIE - dancer - team 'show off' who annoyingly looks good wearing anything, even carrier bags! Bubbly, fun, and likes amateur dramatics - but should be professional!

LYNDA - Also dances with Glory of the West . Wanted to try something different so joined us too - quick learner and fun! Very concientious dancer - and an asset to the team.

DOUG - Foreman and Webmaster - Doug's a professional juggler and molly dancer by trade but has picked up the Beltane style with remarkable ease. He's got the best Beltane stare in the group. We're hoping that his daughter Tess will be following in his footsteps and starting dancing soon.

LIZ - dancer - She's done morris before and is just undergoing the style conversion to Beltane's border morris.

DAVE - Drummer - Joined us in early 2007. He's a stilt walker and drummer so look out for Dave at festivals.

LINDA - dancer - Joined in Autumn 2007 and picked up the Beltane style very quickly. Good Beltane stare....

DILYS - Erstwhile dancer and drummer - Joined in 2007, new to morris but not to dancing. Likes Cava (cold) Chips (hot) and Chocolate (lots.)

Really likes the word “erstwhile”

KEITH - Squire - Married to Jackie, favourite drink is real ale, doesn’t matter what so long as it does the job! Keith is new to border morris and but has embraced the tradition with style. Supports Birmingham City FC to atone for sins in a previous life.

JACKIE - Bagman - Married to Keith, Likes a glass or three of red wine, was introduced to Tequilla at Wallingford last year.

JON - dancer -One of our new members, Jon used to be a glam rocker but all he has to show for it now are these sunglasses.

RIINA - dancer - all the way from Finland is our Riina, she’s partial to a drop of vodka but we’ll have her drinking real ale before the summer is out.

BEN - dancer - no-ones ever seen Ben’s face. Rumour has it that Dilys once caught a glimpse of it through the bottom of a pint glass and has never been the same since.

KEITH - Guerilla fiddle player - You never know when he’s going to strike... We’re just glad he’s on our side.

JOE - dancer - I’d like to introduce you to joe but he’s late...wait is that him pulling into the carpark now?...Here he is at last - Joe, we don’t mind that he’s late all the time because he has an inimitable style that everyone loves and a great singing voice to boot.

CAT - Cat has done a sterling job coaching us through the practice season and is also steampunk artist extrodinaire

HEIDI - dancer - Heidi is one of new memebers, no-one knows she’s really batgirl.

JAMIE - jamie joined us for the 2010 season. She says she’s only in it for the cider, but she’s a pretty good dancer too.

SAZ - Dancer - Saz joined us in 2011 and also dances with Harberton Navy
